1 Chronicles 16:26-27

For all the gods of the nations are idols, but the Lord made the heavens. Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and joy are in his dwelling place.

Our Father in Heaven, we come before your throne today, we exalt your name and we give you praise. For your righteousness reaches to the heavens, and there is none like you, nor there is any God besides you. You are a God who keeps covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love and keep your commandments. Lord, we we seek your face; we seek your presence and your directions for today, and for all of our tomorrow's. You are the God in whom we trust; A God who hear and answer prayers. May your peace abide with us, and may your strength be our strength, for we are weak all by ourselves. Lord, we pray for those among us who are sick, those who are hurting; those who are feeling hopeless, helpless, and are faced with many circumstances. Lord, touch their hearts and their lives, and meet them at their greatest needs, for your greater glory. You have done it before Lord, and we know you will do it for us once again. Lord, we thank you in advance for what you are about to do. May your name be glorified forever more we pray. In Jesus name.
